Ideal are experts in networks, security, collaboration and platforms and provide high-quality managed services to corporate and enterprise customers in the UK. Starting as a family-run business ten years ago, Ideal wanted to mature its marketing function and invest in building a strategic growth engine that enabled the business to hit its ambitious targets. Following a detailed marketing maturity audit, Sea Level put in a place a 12-month transformation program that addressed gaps in the function (capability, resource, process) and established the building blocks for success. These included setting up a product marketing function, establishing campaign governance, creating and running several large lead-generation campaigns around core personas, honing the brand messaging, revisiting sales enablement and sourcing brand ambassadors.
